The “YTJ Shrek”story:

"YTJ Shrek" started as a stock and pretty beat 1991 YJ Renegade I bought years ago.  The Jeep looked pretty bad when I bought it, very neglected, but I saw the potential, and could not wait to build it up from scratch into a good capable wheeler.  It has been through so many changes, lifts, suspension, tires, and mods, and slowly got to where it is today.  I think using the words "Jeep" and "complete" or "done" on the same phrase will probably never happen, but getting there is part of the fun :)  I like to do all the work on the rig myself, and have learned a lot while trying and experimenting new things on the rig.  The Jeep has been trough many CA and a few Nevada trails, including the Rubicon, Slickrock, DeerValley, Fordyce, etc.  The Jeep has recently received a front face lift (new Wrangler), garage Olive Drab paint job, and a lot of other customizations.   I have also been fortunate to get the "bone award" from the club, for having the rig breaking some minor stuff in quite a "few runs" ;)  Hope to see you on the trail!
